Foo - Pheard sent me a pic a while back...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

....of him riding his bike in his undies. Not the special kind of undies, the kind that normal guys wear. I swear there was a skidmark there but he said the undies were up his butt, hence the "shadowing". I promised not to post it but I bet he would...on a dare. :D *snicker*

This I gotta see....come on Pheard, let's see the "shadowing". We won't laugh at you....we, er...uhm....promise.
Poor Phaerd! He has underpantinal Coffee Strainer Syndrome! I for one promise not to snicker, giggle, or laugh!;):D

Urm. Why do MTB'ers ride with the stomach on the saddle? That doesn't look very comfortable. :o
And, Jon, from everything I know about users of the Camelbak hydration system, you lose style points by not keeping your liquid pacifier close to your mouth. :p

Usually mtb'ers are off the back of the lowered saddle when they are going downhill to keep the weight over the rear wheel - keeps you from going over the bars should something happen in an emergency and provides better control of the bike.
But Jon is going uphill........hmm.
i wonder if he was in the process of lowering the sphincter area onto the tire for some intensive therapy?
Atleast he's wearing a helmet.

I don't think he's going uphill, looks like flat ground to me. But that doesn't make it any better.

Well that wasn't the pic he sent me. There's an even better one that shows a skid mark...and I'm not talking about on the pavement.

Do you actually ride, or do you just pose in odd positions with your bike in your undies?

Jon....maybe you should mount a rag to your rear tire then do your "ride on stomach" pose as in 1st pic. That should take care of the cleanliness issue and still allow you to ride your bike.

Don't laugh peeps. I keep the AD folks in business, what with all the stressful things I have goin' on. Jon, I know you're stessed about a number of things. It's ok. The stress sucks, especially for one at such a young age, but this, too, shall pass.... :) ((Vega hugs))

Whew, OK, at least it's not as graphic as the Tom Boonen one on the Roubaix velodrome...that one was pretty...uh, stinky (if there was smell-o-vision)

"Camel-toe" is so not an issue here. You jealous, weldman? <very curious Vega look>
I just don't see a "camel-toe" per se. Jon's, urm, "attributes" look quite normal.... Not that I'm "lookin'," but I do protects me my Foo grandson.... Dammit....

You think that's bad, he took off his pants and hung out in his undershorts boxers after the sewage incident. He was wearing cut off sweat pants that were soggy and stinky so I had to say "go ahead and air it out". He started to wring the sweat pants out and then laid them flat in the sun to dry. We were in front of this building with tinted windows all around and little did we know they had an excercise class going on in there. Found out when we heard all this squealing inside from the little girls.
I would not have believed it had I not seen it. I am sitting here somewhat stunned. My goodness. The lad is walking around in his BVDs. It also looks as if he has shaved his legs............
This is getting a little bizarre, no?

Everyone refer to the bolded part for a quick review here.

I think her stomach was getting sour from the sewage my pants had soaked up. :o

In fairness to Tom Boonen, P-R goes of with the roads (including the cobblestones ) in one of two conditions: (1) wet and muddy, which leaves the fenderless racers with a pretty good trail of yuck up their backs and, yes, on their shorts in a strategic area; or (2) dusty as heck, which gets raised in huge clouds by the peloton, whcih means dust gets all over one's shorts, where dripping sweat can do some unpleasant looking things. (You know bike shorts always used to be black - and I think still should be - to hide stuff like this, as well as stains from wiping the grease off your hands from roadside repairs. I bet those baby-blue Gerolsteiner shorts magnifiy every single little smudge.

Hmm wow. Why not just ride naked?
On a similar note, I hiked naked over the weekend. It was quite an (here's that word again) enlightening experience. :)

For me, of course. There was only one other fellow hiker with me. It was a very liberating thing to do. :)

Ok, I did wear shoes. It was a rather dusty trail.
