Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Well, I finally got the pictures developed from my trip to Tahoe. I still can't believe how beautiful the scenery was up there or how much the altitude affected me. I think I would be very happy living in the Sierras.
Okay, I took off the individual pics since they don't seem to be working. Use the link below and that should work. Enjoy....
If you are interested, the rest of the pictures are in:

Great pics Carlos! Wish I'd have been there with you. Ain't it great to ride new trails?:) The only problem is when you get back all the local trails seem lame. How long was the trail you rode?

Hmmm...I don't know why you got that message. I set it so it would be viewable for everybody. Were you able to go through the very last link? That one has all the pictures. Or did you get an error message on that link also???
Let me know if you are still having the same problem...

I love exploring new trails. You're right, after riding up in Tahoe everything near the house seems kind of lame. The singletrack up there was so sweet.
Mr. Toads Wild Ride was about 25 miles and The Flume Trail was 24 miles.
I remember that the climb up Toads took forever. It was very rocky and you had to climb over several large boulders with your bike. But the scenery was unbelievable.

It was definitely a great ride. As I sit in my cube staring out the window I keep wishing I was there right now.
By the way, How is the new bike treating you?

I got an error on individual pics too but the last link with all the pics worked fine for me.
I was wondering about the miles because we're thinking about going to Arkansas to ride the Womble. It's 38 miles long! Supposed to be great singletrack from all I've read about it. They hold a race there too. The farthest I've ridden is about 26 miles on singletrack at a time. Should be fun if I survive! :)

DG,
I don't think you'll have a problem. Remember that you rode in New Mexico at altitude and much more climbing which is tougher.
The rides weren't extremely long but you did have long climbs.
Pozer, Those pics are awesome!!! I can't wait till I get over to that side of the country.
