This is the most interesting TDF in years.

Interesting what happens when the dopers have been reduced.
No 8 minute solo breakaways as of yet.

It will also be interesting to see which riders will get caught doping.
The Aso Uci feud means that the UCI will start doing its job regarding doping with a little more diligence than in the past (read: not covering up) -- but only during Aso events of course :D

UCI by not looking the other way with respect to the rampant doping in the Peloton -- as it has done countless times before -- can effectively wreck the tour. I say there's a lot of bargaining going on behind the scenes between UCI and the Anaury folks right now, and the credibility of this Tour is likely in the balance...

Don't kill me I'm only the messenger. Personally I think it is a great Tour, one with the potential to be one of the best of all time, especially considering the historical context. My huge hope is leaving the age of Armstrong will turn out like leaving the age of Anquetil. Going from cold second counting calculation to wild stages with swings of 5 minutes plus on individual stages. If it can be like the Age of Merckx, except without a dominant rider cycling just might become popular in the U.S.
