If i miss a training session/ride, should i be putting in that extra bit on my next session to make up for the missed one. I guess I am leading to, if i am missing a day is it better to make up that session by going longer or just taking it as a rest day.
I currently train 5-6 days a week, and was wondering if i miss a day and only train 5 days a week, will it make a difference etc, should I not be concerned and just make it up over the next few days??
Thoughts?

In the long run it won't make any difference. Stick to your training plan, and don't put "extra" something in to the next one. That can lead down a dark path of over training and burn out. Remember training weakens your muscles, recovery is what makes them stronger. Just treat it as a rest day. Heck I am taking most of this week off, because I had all the signs of starting to burn out and probably over training.

Don't be concerned, but definitely do not make it a habit.
