I know the feeling. I just moved from Florida which has proper rain (and major heavy usually) to the Pacific North West where rain is much like typical London rain.

A few years ago I went to UK to work with a company we had ties with (in Reading) and I remember the director I worked with said he traveled all over the U.S. quite a bit and Seattle area (where I live) was the place that most reminded him of home.

yup - my brother's :fight: moving to Seattle (Big wheel in IT :beer: ) - Trying to convince him that the commute from Portland isn't so bad :rolleyes:

And, yes, everyone I've met who's been to Seattle agrees the weather is very similar to the UK.
