Hi,

My name is Sean, I live in Boston, and I love to ride. Ridden bikes all my life (I'm 27, so probably 20 years), but only in recent history (3 yrs) have I had my spiritual conversion to riding fixed. I just spent a couple of years in Athens GA doing a degree, and now I'm off to NYC for both a phD and the great biking culture there. Currently riding a fuji track of yesteryear, and currently building up an 80's fuji conversion.
If anyone out there has advice on frames, rims, and especially hubs, that would be great - I would love to hear what people think about the nuances between Phils, Suzue promax's, woodmans, zeus', and the like. Gonna knit them to deep v's regardless.

Thanks for being here.

Hello ZZZ, what's the PhD to be in? Not bicycle hubs, surely? How and why are you so interested in those? Are you certain we can't talk you into some Classic & Vintage geared bikes? Hmmm? Well?

Thanks for coming, and

Welcome to BF!
