Foo - The penultimate ice cream thread

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I just went to one of those ice cream shops where they'll mix stuff in for you right there, and custom-blend ice cream.
Dark Chocolate ice cream, plus Mint ice cream, plus broken up pieces of oreo cookies is a combination that is going to put me back into the Clydesdale club.

Only one more ice cream thread left????? :p

Well, the next one will also be the penultimate ice cream thread. By the way, brown ice cream plus green ice cream doesn't look so good when it's blended together. But I'm not going to be seeing this for much longer.

Not that I'm a purist or anything, but IMO the most sublime ice cream there is would be sweet cream- no added flavors, just cream, milk, and sugar.
But for a majorly calorific (and supremely dental) combination, try vanilla with crushed Heath Bars, drizzled with hot fudge, dusted with malt powder and finished with real (no Cool Whip, plz) whipped cream dusted with really good cocoa powder. Sort of an interesting take on the classic dusty road sundae.

Vanilla. It needs nothing added to it.

Foo can always use a new ice cream thread. I'm a sucker for Ben and Jerrys - Cherry Garcia. I have one in the freezer that I'm trying hard not to crack open. The longer I wait, the harder it gets.

I love reese's too, but the last time I went to this place, I got Cookie Dough ice cream (no chips or anything) and had Butterfinger crushed up into it. IMHO butterfinger is a better ice-cream mix-in than reese's.

Smiths Dairy in Buhl, Idaho . . .
Has a herd of 70 cows (free range, no anti-biotics) that they milk and take care of . . .
Turns it into the best ice creams(s) I've eaten . . . and have traveled the lower 48 sampling!
Get this: Potato/Coffee ice cream! Nope, does not taste like french fries!
40% of sugar content is replaced by dried potato then coffee added . . . utlra smooth/tasty!
Idaho being the 'Famous Potatoes' state does justice to some unique ice creams.
Lots of other flavors (without potato) including coconut/cherry, etc.
I just had fresh mango and some green tea ice cream. It was like an orgasm in my mouth. Not the kind you're thinking of sickos, the sweet, creamy ice cream kind. :p
I was like. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH yeaaaaa.
Someone needs to make icecream flavored bacon
