UPDATE: 8.12.07
ORDERING IS CLOSED
Please check the chart an make sure I have you entered correctly! Send corrections soon.
If it's OK, you don't need to mail me again
Note:
I will update this post as the info in the table changes, or order info becomes available.
For "big news" I'll add a new post in the thread that references this one.
Send updates to to me via PM or Email (my email is curtis@corlew.com) with any updates.
Order table:

Here's my mock up. I'll post the proof when it arrives

Here's the sizing info:
A note on "cuts"
Unless you know you are a racer, get the club. It isn't loose, it's normal. Racer is, well, for racers.
http://curtis.corlew.com/hosting/size.gif
When I get roughly half the money I'll place the design order.
When i get the proof I'll post it here.
When the jerseys get here I'll mail them USPS to the address you sent me.
PROOFS ARE IN!
http://curtis.corlew.com/hosting/sleeve.proof.gif
and sleeveless too!

Fine print:
This is a not-for-profit effort. One of my personal goals is to not end up being out of pocket in doing this.
Because of that, I have no room for error. I can't make refunds or changes to completed orders. I can't change sizes after I place the order.
This entire process will take a while. I've put a three week deadline for payment, and the company takes a few weeks to make them.

3) Send me payment via PAYPAL
<sigh> deal breaker there...

I just got a "how do I paypal" message.
You go yo www.paypal.com and create an account. You are not charged for sending money. All fees are paid by the receiver.
When you tell Paypal you want to pay me, they ask for my email, then post the money to my paypal account when they either charge your credit card or extract it from your back account.
I've had an account forever and both sent and received money with no problems. It really is pretty mainstream these days; a standard way to make payments on the net.

CCCorlew,
Please add me to your order list. I'd like 2 jerseys: 1 medium club, 1 large club.
(This will make a great b'day present for a riding friend who's just turning 50-- great timing.)
**Please confirm or edit me into the above list...thanks.
I'm a tech dummy, and I was able to set up an account and I just sent you money.
Perhaps you could defer expenses in future by soliciting sponsors for the jersey.
I'm thinking Centrum Silver, AARP, manufacturers of reading glasses, etc.
But we'll have to draw the line at Depends. :D

You have my bucks....now don't run off to Australia or the UK or some other godforsaken place with all that dough....thanks for your work and great design. How long before The Ferriners flame me???:p
Thanks again,

Send me one Depends Jersey and $55 and I promise to wear it for at least 1,000 miles on the local MUP.:roflmao:

I just updated the spreadsheet 7.21.07 at 8:30 PST
The minimum order is 10, and we're there. I have enough paid orders to start the design proof process, which I will try to do Monday. Oddly, it requires a FAX machine, which in my life is oddly hard to find. Why they can't do phone or net like the rest of the modern world is beyond me.
I leave Tuesday morning for a week at the Ashland Oregon Shakespeare Fest. We'll be taking our bikes, and I'll be searching for free WiFi so i can keep this going while I'm there.

Hm... I don't see my name on the list even though I said I was interested.
Man, get a puppy and people just forget who you are... sheesh
Well, I'm still interested, even so...
I have until August 11th to get my order in?
OK, I'll get my specifics (and check to you before the 11th)

SaiKaiTai, just say what size and send teh money and you'll be cool like the rest of us.
And I have lost my mind. I found myself looking at SockGuy to see how much custom socks would cost... I couldn't find a price list. I guess I'm lucky.

Less than 1 in 10 jerseys that I've ordered without trying on has fit. To get a decent fit, I've ended up with everything from medium to XXL. I've decided that sizing charts mean nothing; manufacturer does. Who makes these jerseys?

Wow, that's really bad odds. Can I have the ones that didn't fit? :D
Seriously, I know what you mean. I usually wear medium, but I own a large i can't squeeze into and another large that's just right. Last time I bought regular shirts I found the smalls fit best.
Still my wife says we guys have it better off than the gals, where marked size means less than nothing!
These are made by Champion Systems. I haven't seen an actual jersey from them, so I don't know if they run large or small or just right.

I don't know about this. In the last year I've had 3 under 30s ask for my number that I've met on a ride. Nobody believes I'm over 40, much less over 50. And while I'm happily married I don't think I want to advertise this. :)
Please add a men's LARGE club cut short sleeve.
I'll send the money for the second jersey via paypal today!

I tried to make it somewhat stealth-like. You can always claim it's a jersey for riding Highway 50 plus several other side roads. It doesn't actually say you're over 50. Pretty sneaky, huh?
SIDENOTE:
We have enough payments that I started the setting-up-the-account process this morning. I hope to start the proof process today or Tuesday. That means that it can go through while the payment deadline approaches, and then as soon as it passes I'll place the order.
I've been updating the chart as info comes in. If you haven't, please check it and make sure I have your info correct.

Sure as the fact I'll pick up a goathead flat in September............I know other cycling friends will want one of these jersey's. Question: will these be available again in the future or is this a one-time thing?

I hadn't thought that far ahead. Maybe in a few months, depending on how much work this turns out to be.
The thing is, there is a minimum order of 10....

Anyone happen to own a jersey from either Voler or Hincapie as well as one from Champion? Any thoughts on how their sizing compares? I'm a large club cut Voler which they list as 40-42 and an XL in a Hincapie (probably a race cut.) I'm leaning toward a medium club cut in the Champion (42) but am concerned about the length. Anyone actually own a Champion Systems jersey that can commit on their sizing.
I'll place an order as soon as I have determined my size.
Thanks,
:beer:i see by the chart that you received my $... i just want to thank you for all the effort you have /and will put into this undertaking. it seems like a lot of work and probably some headaches. it is a good idea, the jersey looks cool, and i appreciate it. thanks from brew city!

I see you've added my payment, thanks. I've never worn a jersey before, so it could be interesting. I tend to the much more casual side in what I wear. I mentioned to my wife that the size might not be right. She said she's sure she could shrink it. ;)

Hey all!
Proofs are here from Champ-sys!
I've added them to the first message in the thread.
I'm just waiting for the deadline to pass before i place the order.
I'm in Ashland Oregon for the Shakespeare Festival. We brought the road bikes and managed to get in a quick 20 this morning before the lecture we went to. Last nights "On the R***le" by Stoppard was fun. Tonight th is Tempest. Thursday I hope to get 40 or 50 in before we start the play stuff.

I take it from the proofs that the jerseys come in pieces and we have to assemble them ourselves. I'm not too handy with a sewing machine. Can I just duct tape mine together and wear it that way? Is it okay to use colored duct tape? What color should I use: Red, black or white?

Sure, duct tape is fine, and you can use all three colors!

They should be glued together with the saliva of moths that are collected Tahitians during the full moon. Or, paypal me $165,885.98.99 ea and I'll take care of it for you.
