Aerospoke Wheels

Has anyone had any experience with Aerospoke wheels?
I like bladed wheels and have a pair of Spinergy RevX Rocks on my mountain bike, however I do not thiink they would be strong enough for our tandem.
Any thoughts?

As an FYI I posted the stuff about melting the wheel on steep desecents. I'm still not happy with anyone's answer on how to control the heat generated by the aria drum...

AeroSpoke did replace the melted wheel free of charge.

Oh, BTW they are really great for travel. our S&S Burley Duet was sweet to carry to France to watch the tour...

We live in South Florida where it is flatter than flat so the extra weight is easy enough to overcome and we can sprint up to 34mph...

On the pics at the above site we carried the bike up the Tourmalet and it wasn't so bad.

The only thing I notice is on some road surfaces there can be an oscillation that I didn't notice with spoked wheels... But it doesn't happen at any particular speed or on hills or such...

Only negative is don't use the drum brake with these wheels... Aerospoke is looking at the one I melted to figure out what happened...
