I just purchased a trainer so I can get up and ride in the morning before work. I will be riding in my garage and want to know what tire I should get. I want a slick I know ,but could you give some advise? thanks.

Am I the only mountain biker that uses a trainer?

I've been using a Schwalbe Marathon Plus 26X1.5 when using my mountain bike on a trainer, it's holding up well so far.
Buy the cheapest slick you can find. Trainers are quite hard on tires.

I have used some Performance Forte slicks that I got for $5.99. I agree for this purpose all you need is a cheap one.

That's what I was going to say - look in Nashbar and Performance for their house brand MTB slicks.
