8:30 Bus NYC Port Authority to Stroudsburg: $29.50
10:30 Stroudsburg, follow 611 south following signs to Appalachian trail, Delaware st. There are food and outdoors stores in Stroudsurg.
Take bridge to Old Mine Road.
Old Mine road leads to Port Jervis after a few name changes (river rd, rt 521).
5:15 arrive Port Jervis station.
5:30 NJT to Hoboken: $14.25
Path to WTC: $2
Delaware water gap has numerous campgrounds maintained by parks dept. Vine ripe raspberries are free. Pt jervis is at a higher elevation than Stroudsburg. Transportation to NYC is more frequent in Stroudsburg. The route has many climbs and drops. The road was mostly smooth and well maintained and free of heavy traffic, but occasional potholes will surprise you if you are gawking at the trees while riding.
