I'm tired of spending hundred of dollars on saddles to find out that they don't fit me. I'm sure there are others out there that also feel the same way.

I recently made a deal with a local guy on another forum where I would buy his saddle for $100 and if it didn't work out for me I could return it to him and he'd give me back $80. That got me thinking, there are so many of us here and we all have saddles lying around that we've tried and don't like. Why not workout some way of offering up our unused saddles to others who are still looking for their perfect saddle?

I'm currently looking to try out the following saddles. Anyone have one lying around that I could borrow/rent?

Fizik Aliante
Selle San Marco Rolls
Selle San Marco Regal

I have a Selle Italia SLR Carbonio Flite if anyone wants to try it.

I thought it would be more effective if we had one specific to Socal but I guess no one is interested.

I'll pay $10/pound on any Brooks saddle in decent condition.

:p I sure do! With emphasis on 'exchange' or more accurately, I've done a lot of borrowing!

Actually, I only have the Specialized Avatar and a stock Bianchi that came on my bike. You're welcome to use either if you'd like!

Oh, I also have a Flite (?) from James but that tends to be my default saddle. It provides the least amount of damage thus far. :p

If only this had been 6 months earlier, I would have been in. I bought about 6 saddles on ebay before deciding on which one will allow me to have children, then sold the rest back on ebay. I think I came out close to even, minus the shipping charges.

I hate that specialized avatar....it is sitting on the hybrid gathering dust...I should let someone try it.

Which ones did you try? What did you settle on?

I tried the stock Bianchi that came on my Veloce, Flite ti (too hard), Flite SLR Gel Flow (too narrow), Flite Genuine Gel (numb nuts)m and finally settled on the Max Flite Gel Flow. Of course, it depends on your @$$ and not mine, but I can usually find a Selle Italia saddle I like.
