This is my new mount for my back up PB superflash, the dinotte is still under the saddle.

Its a NZO Visty, comes in high visibility white or yellow, not sure if its available in the states but they have mail order from New Zealand

Planet Bike is actually selling that as their Official SuperFlash Tail Light Mount.

Interesting how the so-called "jacket" attaches directly to the human body with no other bike hardware required. :p

another way to mount the Dinotte tail light is to get a SMALLER "O" ring and mount the light on the REAR seatstay bridge.

Someone also suggested (and now I'm blanking on which thread I saw this in) using those rather heavy-duty pony tail bands (which should be available at just about any drug store or grocery store).

My own somewhat off-the-wall suggestion is to take a look at a swimming pool supply store. In pool stores, there is usually a rack full of dozens upon dozens of O-rings of various sizes that are used in pool plumbing, pool filters, and such (tiny ones less than an inch in diameter to large ones of several inches in diameter and all sizes in between). Because those are somewhat specialty items, they're not exactly cheap (but cheap is in the eye of the beholder). And on swimming pool specific O-rings, overall stretchability could be an issue. Pool O-rings are generally very flexible (bendable) but not necessarily very stretchable. Might be worth a look, though.

You're welcome! Just to check, though, you might also e-mail the folks over at DiNotte and see if they sell what you need (or if they can just send you a spare or two - you never know). Sure seems like they would make spares available, even if they're not actually shown on the site.

The Ahrens Bicycles Wisecracker bottle opener. Since beer can't open itself. Clamps to a 27.2mm seatpost for a stylee opener that works like a charm. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with hard black anodization and a laser engraved Urban Velo logo.

The second one should be able to be mounted to the seat post, I think. You'd just need to loosen, detach, and rotate the end piece where the bar strap is. I'm pretty sure that's the way it works. Granted, the first one looks a lot nicer, but the second should work, too. (I can't promise the second one will work the way you want it to, but I think it will...)

They sell the second one at Performance Bicycle. I saw them there today when I stopped by for the tail end of their Grand Opening in Houston (Westheimer store). On the package it stated "fully adjustable horizontal and vertical." They're something like $10 on sale right now or about $15 regular price.

Probably, but I think if someone's not gonna have a saddle bag -- does anyone use a saddle bag with panniers? -- then ya might as well put it under the saddle.
