Hi there,

I'm aware its a fairly common occurance but I've had my brand new mountain bike stolen from my outside my flat and would really appreciate some help in trying to trace it or even just increasing awareness about how common this type of theft is.

it was a red frame size XS, COMMENCAL COMBI bike, with SUNTOUR 100mm front suspension and SRAM X-9 24 gears. It was specifically targeted as it was taken the only day we don't have builders in the hall. Yesterday! i have the frame number if that is off use

If anyone comes across something similar for sale or can even give me advice on tracking it please get intouch.

Thanks ,
Sarah

Please post pictures and say where it was taken from.

If you're in London get down to Brick Lane on Sunday very early. As far as I know, if you can prove the bike is yours, there's usually someone from the met police there who can pull it out for you and, hopefully, charge the scumbags who stole it.

here's a picture of the stolen bike, it looks exaclty like that, no mud, or scratches as i'd only used it twice!

I have the frame number too if anyone comes across it!

Thanks,
Sarah
