I'm bored at work, I've been here for two and a half hours and have played all the "Bubbles" I can. So I want to know what you do at work to entertain yourself.

1)BF
2) Try to make programs do things their not supposed to do.
3) Daydream about tropical islands. Depending on my mood, they are either deserted or not.

Live in a tropical paradise - quit my day job so I can spend more time enjoying where I live.

Next question?

Yeah I live in Barbados too. No dreaming about tropical islands necassary. And I'm tied to the Marine Corps for a year and a half more so I can't get a new job. BF is better now but there are rarely too many people around at 6 AM east coast time.

I destroy stuff on a bench grinder. Pretty fun...

I have a gun but I'm not allowed to use it. They frown upon things like that.

I pretend to go to the bathroom and read the cycling magazines I have in my backpack.

I have excel Monopoly now. That always passes a few hours at a time. I think I'm going to just start PM'ing everyone in the other forums, like "alt bike style" or whatever it is and make friends that way. Or piss people off. Either way, it's going to be entertaining for me.

Otherwise it is BF or skier forum called alpinezone.

Try to think up ways to get crtreedude to adopt me as his long lost son.

Cool, my Dad's from Barbados. Silly man moved to Canada though :p

I've accomplished absolutely nothing today at work. I only have a week left and they haven't given me anyone to train and it's just really hard to care right now.

*goes to look at pictures of Barbados*

I've had to find WORK to do at work. It sucks, I used to do only what I was told to do and do it half assed. Now I have to do it whole assed and then when that's done I have to volunteer for more work. When I volunteer for stuff I kinda just do it regular assed.

I just watched Pirate Master on NBC.com. Thats a good way to pass 45 minutes. Although it definitely shows the decline in good television these days.

My current job is fantastic and my work keeps me entertained. Pretty simple really.
Surround yourself with interesting, talented people, and you too might be inspired to actually work instead of looking for something interesting to entertain yourself. BF will still be here when you get home.;)

I literally sit in a bulletproof, steel re-enforced, bomb proof security booth. Having company isn't really an option. I could lock people in the lobby but they usually get grumpy and don't play well.

OK, new idea. Tomorrow take a digital camera to work and take some pics out your window.
Give us a report of what's going on, which will help people realize that there is a fasinating world outside theirs.

That would be fun. But no cameras allowed in the embassy. It's a security risk.

But I had company for the last hour. They are replacing one of the pieces of glass in my cage so I had people to talk to. And they are coming back in a while. It's like Christmas....almost.

You just gave me an idea... I wonder if anyone would notice if I installed an EQ2 client on the machine I'm on.
