just signed up for the Tour de Bronx in Aug 21st... anyone from the Bronx going??

Just got back into riding.... been riding motorcycles (sportbikes) for the last few years.. crashed recently on the race track...now wife says no more!!

tennis and road bike riding is all I have....just picked up a Mercier TT Aero...pretty descent bike.. now looking to ride with others.... anyone??

Don't mean to change the thread topic, but did you pick up your Mercier in the BX, from BD or elsewhere? (I'm an ex-City Island boy now in Mystic looking to pick up a Mercier Serpens).
How do ya like it? Happy?

sorry meant Oct 21.....not sure why I mentioned Aug... (must be the wife's birthday or something..lol)
I'll be starting from the 233rd Metro North station area... (still trying to figure out exactly where we are meeting..) but I'll be there!


as for the bike, I ordered the aero TT from ebay.. new from sprtymama....

bike is very nice!! great build quality...light and nice looking... it was also professionally packed and delivery was quick!!

I recently changed the seat to a gell filled sport seat... and now changin the tires for Continental Ultra Gatorskins... (the original Kenda something is nice but offer very little protection from today's roads)

overall great bike... can't go wrong for the money!
