If anyone is interested in the Tim Paterick lugged frame building vids i would be into a share buy... pm me for details.
they are a bit too expensive to afford alone (at least for me).
Or if any of you already have them, I would pay to borrow them for a day or two.

I hate to say it but...
Legally you shouldn't do this.
If you distribute a copy to someone other than the original buyer you are breaking copyright laws.
Not to mention that if he gets hold of the fact that you are trying to do this he'll bite your head off !
He contacted me and threatened to sue me after I bought a PDF version of his book off of Ebay that he thought was a non-copyrighted version.
I was unaware of this fact and terminated the deal with the seller.
I guess he has been ripped off a few times and he is his own watch dog on copyright infringement.
After all that's how he makes his living.

I wasn't actually thinking of making a copy, but a share setup.. you know... you take it for a few days.. I watch it a few days...
your probably right, it probably wouldn't work out.. I really just wanted to rent it...
alright, abandon that effort... i probably would be mad too if I were him... oh well, plan B is save some money and just buy them.
i would delete the thread but I can't figure out how...

There's nothing illegal about sharing a single copy as long as each party has exclusive use at any given time.

They can be rented online from one of those online rental places that specializes in how-to video rentals.

I would say that a lot of the info is repetitive between the two, as one would expect so I wouldn't get both of them unless you particularly enjoy watchin how-to. They are long videos 6-10 hours.
