The DT Swiss Spokecalc gives you two spoke lenghts: a precise one and a rounded one. However, if the precise one is, say 290.9 mm, it gives you a rounded length of 290 mm, is this ok?

Yes, I use the DT calculator and also round down. I found it interesting that by changing the selected spokes to Revolutions (2.0-1.5-2.0) the calculator automatically rounds down another mm or so. I assume that this is for extra stretch.
