Hello
Do any of you out there use a lightweight tourer, I am doing a 6 mile commute, and looking for a steel frame, comfortable and suitable for 6' 3" (192cm), 84kg, and will carry a panier about 15kg max on rear. What are your experiences? The roads are quite rough and poorly maintained although there are some cycling paths here in sunny Glasgow.
Thanks

Have a look at Condor Cycles website - they make a fast tourer/randonee bike that sells very well. The other option is SJS cycles which seems to have a very good reputation.

Also, have a chat with the people in the touring forum here.

http://www.condorcycles.com/ - quite possibly the best bike shop in London
