My girlfriend and I are spending nine days in Cape Cod in a few weeks and are bringing our bicycles. Does anyone know of any bicycle friendly routes with at least a 20 mile stretch? I'm hoping for hilly, but anything bicycle friendly will work.

Also: vegan restaurants, good places to drink, record shops that sell vinyl, places to avoid, places of interest, et al.

Thanks!

You're hitting the Cape during high tourist season. Prepare for crowds and choose your arrival/departure outside peak hours. Word to the wise :)

Best informational website overall:

Bike trail specific info:

There is so much to do and see on the Cape, and much of it based on personal preference, that it's hard to recommend certain places or restaurants. I never had trouble finding vegetarian food; don't know how difficult vegan would be, but I imagine not too hard.

Have fun!

I did 40 miles on the Claire Saltonstall Bikeway from Eastham to Truro and back. It was fantastic. Hilly enough to be interesting. Scenic with varying terrain. The roads were quiet (at least back in May). Recommended!

The Cape Cod Rail Trail is 22 miles from Dennis to South Wellfleet, with a 10 mile spur from Harwich to Chatham.
The National Seashore has shorter trails at Eastham, Turo, and Provincetown.
