I have been given a set of Dura-Ace wheels - wh-7700, I believe.

I am a clyde - 6' & 260 lbs.

Will these wheels support me? I currently ride some Neuvations on my other bike, that I love. It is hard to dismiss free good wheels though.

Any feelings out there on the sturdiness of these wheels?

Wouldn't expect a problem.

Are they the sixteen paired spoke type? Probably would be ok but I've never used them. I'm still amazed my Bontragers hold me up.

For the price you cannot go wrong.:D I would say ride them and hope for the best. Or set them aside for that special build when you reach your goals.

I'd be happy to test them out for you and report back!

Thank you all. They are the 16 spoke wheels, for what it is worth.
