I come in peace. RonH recommended I post one o' these, so here goes:
My name is Nathan, I live in Chattanooga, I am a welder by trade.(No, I don't work for Litespeed and Yes, I wish I did!)
I found this site after I had a bicycle stolen by a Peruvian with a bone through his nose(I AM NOT JOKING, long, funny story, too long to tell here.) I was trying to decide on a new road bike since I'd had MTBs for most of my adult life, but recently had moved so my commute was longer(now that's a run-on sentence!) haunting this site helped me make a final decision, and I was impressed with how helpful and friendly everyone was(except for this D-ALEX guy,) so I figured I'd join up.
I guess I'm one of those ecology minded-critical mass havin'-bike punx-commuter-I love my dog type guys. Not really much of a gearhead-physics professor-body hair shaver-dayglo lycra type guy. I gave my car away 2 years ago and haven't looked back. But enough about me, let me tell you about my bike.
Giant OCR3 (components need upgrade but I'm not rich!)I named her "WING ZERO" because you should always name your bike. Added a lot of aesthetic-shattering hardware such as rearview mirror, fenders and head- and tail-lights. Some people laugh at this and say these things are ugly, but they're usually the same morons who are too "cool" to wear helmets! I LOVE THIS BIKE.
I usually commute about 20 miles a day and am saving up for a tour this fall.
So anyway, sorry for rambling but I took two benadryl for my allergies and they kinda put me in dimension-x, I'm just happy to be here!
Regards,
NATE
