I say Contador or perhaps Rasmussen....

Place your bets.....:(

W/o condoning doping at all I have to say that the consistent leakage of results from this particular lab to L'equipe is tiresome. You'd think the UCI would (finally) put a stop to it, but I guess they don't mind.

If its Rasmussen, then Cadel still has a chance to win he's less than 2 minutes down on the kid.
Or do you reckon the ASO will just spit the dummy and call the whole thing off.

The UCI don't mind at all. They laughing their heads off at ASO.

The war within the war on doping.

On second thoughts, I'd give the prize money to the laterne rouge, he'd have to be the only one not cheating, Wim Vansevenant is the new golden boy.:p

Oh no, we are back to the Floyd Landis defense talking points. What was that, number 5 in Doc Ray's list, right between "write a book" and "start a foundation."

You got to love these guys, even if their rhetoric is getting a little old....

Just hope we still get to see an exciting race (I'm not home and these backwood bamas don't carry Versus); isn't there a place to watch the tour coverage online? I forget (I mean other than cyclingtv/versus online).

kleng and jibi beat you to it, you're losing your touch.

Not that I want to see anybody doping, but I hope it's one of the guys in the protest this morning.

Hypocrisy is always entertaining.

Conspiracy theory !!! The UCI is salting all the samples to discredit the ASO and the Tour. Prudhomme must be looking for a rock to hide under.

i guess this was done by the team management. some teams decided to start riding right away, while the rest (the french and german teams) protested.
that protest was rather lame btw.
they waited how long? a minute? ridiculous.

the poster you are referring to didnt defend anyone or even deny there was doping. he was just making a point about how laughable the constant "leaking" is.

Who did they test this stage? Robbie Hunter won it, and Astana dropped the hammer. I suspect another Astana rider, but who knows.

WTF Blaireau?

Man, you need to slow your roll. I'm not defending anybody nor will I defend this unnamed rider once he's named. My sole objection is to the obvious linkage between a lab and a newspaper which contravenes the clearly stated rules about the release of test results. This is not a solitary occurrence and I'm disappointed that noone seems interested in stopping it.

Cylowe's comment makes sense as the ASO and the UCI have been publically feuding for awhile but your attempt to cast my post as a defense for doping is lame to the extreme. Hardly surprising, but very lame.

I believe it was Hunter, Rasmussen, Kirchen, Vila, Moreni, Jegou, Zabel and Iglinsky

Interesting comment from the cyclingnews live coverage:

14:44 CEST
Speaking to Cyclingnews' Brecht Decaluwé this morning, Belgian Tom Boonen heralded Cadel Evans as 'the first clean rider.' He was expressing his doubts over Rasmussen and, it would seem, Contador also.

Evans was pleased to hear that. "There are not many prices and accolades for doing your job correctely, the prices and accolades are for the winner. I'm proud of the fact that someone like Tom said that about me. I am very happy to hear that."

Actually, Vansevenant took two minutes out of the next-to-last place rider on stage 15. Hmmmmmm.
