Bandwagon? Some of us have been fans for years? How would/will you feel when your boy Armstrong admits or is found to have doped all those tours?

I like Vino. I'm sorry his carrier ended like this. I also wounder if he was told to do it. I can't believe he could do it without help. He's from a former USSR country where he's used to being told what to do...

I'm sure that the was the first and only time Vino did it. And only because they ordered him to.

Vino still has my full respect; the real bandwagon here is the one everyone jumped on when the results became available in the public.

I still think Vino's a class guy.

yep got his teamed booted from the TDF, gave the TDF and pro cycling another black eye, and probably contributed to rabobank sacking rasmussen (another class act BTW).

vino, a real class guy who cares only about himself and "revenge".

and before vino cheated the question was if vino would hurt kloden's chances of winning the tour....

if i were kloden i'd plant my foot in vino's sorry arse !

Would that be the same Herr Kloeden who, mit a certain Herr Ullrich, used some very suspicious team Taktiks when they were all supposedly racing zusammen, bei T-Mobile, and consistently ruined any chance Vino had at the time? Like in 2005?

T-Mobile tactics hurting Vino is totally over played. Ulrich was the team leader and rightfully so. Look at his record in the TdF. If not for Lance, he's a multiple yellow jersey winner. Vino's own tactics hurt him as much as T-Mobile's. Everyone talks about that stage when Kloden and Ulrich rode down Vino. Actually, if you watched that stage you would know that Vino had been dropped on the previous climb by the leaders group. Vino went on a crazy charge that caught the group with Kloden and Ulrich. But instead of slowing and recovering a bit, Vino went ahead an charged right past them. He got 100 meters up the road and blew up. Kloden and Ulrich led that group past Vino. Why? Because they were trying to deal with another rider in their group. A Lance Armstrong. If Vino stayed with his teammates, they would have been in a stronger position to attack Lance. Instead he ended up getting dropped again. Do you really think Lance would have let Vino go if he perceived him as a serious threat?

Vino is all about the Vino. His pride was hurt about being 20 minutes down. He paniced and got caught.

I could be wrong, and probably am, but I think Vino may have started the tour dope free. He got his butt handed to him, and his pride got the better of his judgement.

You know why I like vino?.. He rode like how I would want to ride if I had the talent to be a tour rider.. He attacked like there was no tomorrow.. He wasn't perfect and didn't have an uber team unlike other to support him (till this year) yet he never let that be a deterrent to not try and give his best.. yeah I am disappointed by his actions and spent a lot of yesterday in shock but it still doesn't take away from the fact that the man rode unlike any one else in the pro peleton save for Jens Voight.

You may have it right. Probably went ahead and gambled. Kinda like how Floyd had that bad stage last year, then boom.
