At least Harry Potter's performance-enhancing magic was above board. The Vino doping was too much for me. I watched every stage so far, but no more.

Harry dies.
There; put down the book and get back to following our sport.
(ok...just kidding; I have no clue what happens in the book ;) )

I respectfully turn down the nomination, as I completely wussed out and added the parentheses at the end. :o

I take it that you aren't going to watch ANY other sports then?

no matter what happens at the tour, it could never be so bad that I'd choose to read Harry potter....
I'd say read something by P.G. Wodehouse instead.

Actually, Ron gets splinched and has to take a potion to heal his arm... and they all drink something to reconstitute themselves after they escape from Gringots... I am so serious right now...
Guess what...Harry Pot-head is a huge, huge doper...
Come on, it's obvious.
of course, how else does he manage to get his broom to fly?

Vino testing positive was no surprise to me. I must say I was disapointed bcz he sure was making the tour exciting but he'd been suspected of doping for awhile and now he's been caught. I'm glad that so many are being caught especially the high profiled riders. I still love the tour and our sport. I watch many other sports knowing full well that if they aren't doping they probably also cheated their way through school. The cheater's receive their reward: a few moments of glory later replaced by a lifetime of shame and regret

Why shouldn't you watch? Because they are trying to week out the cheaters? Huh?

ORRRR it's kind of like that time Harry and Ron crashed the flying car into the whomping willow in Chamber of Secrets.

Or "de-gnome" if we were talking about Harry Potter and the Weasley's garden!

That would depend on if we're talking about TdF, the Tri-Wizard Tournament, the Quidditch season, or the House Cup.
Harry rides a broom, not a bicycle, so that's kind of obvious if we're staying on topic, PLEASE.

Yeah, but I loved your response to my original post. I was going to write back: Rasmussen wins. Now go back to the book. (Glad I didn't.) dc biker.

+1!!
People.... Harry Potter is children's literature.
Don't mistake me for some elitist snob, but there is a world of great, adult books to read out there. Let the kids have their books.

Remember the author/publisher/movie producers were strongarming small bookstores about the parties they wanted to hold for the book release and forcing them all to sign ridiculous contracts. But go ahead and support them because they're not in it just for the money.
i guess if you have kids and harry potter is in the house, fine...but if you're over 16, then it's time to move on. Don't get me wrong, i read kid's books from time to time, but i'm not sitting with bated breath waiting for Harry Potter books to come out...besides with the tour, there's plenty of drama.
