"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - Lauri Aus killed today
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
So sad- I was reading on eurosport.com- they said that Lauri Aus, a professional cyclist from Estonia was killed today by a drunk driver.
:( We lost another one today. R.I.P.
No details yet other than this, but if anyone gets the AP report, can you post it here? It really hasn't hit the news yet.

Estonian pro Lauri Aus, member of the French Ag2R-Prévoyance team, was killed while riding to the Estonian MTB championships on Sunday. Aus was reportedly hit from behind by a drunk driver and died from his injuries in the ambulance.
The site promises more information as it becmoes available.
Horribly sad Koffee:(
So great that the Tour remembered her at the beginning of stage 15 this morning...
Actually "him" is the correct pronoun. Very accomplished cyclist from what I read and apparently killed by a drunk driver. A universal problem.
Thanks for the correction...
