The Kenosha track has special memories for me. The first time I ever rode a track bike and the first time I ever rode the track were at the 1981 Wisconsin state Championships at Kenosha (I'm dating myself, I know). I got 2nd in the individual pursuit. Rode it for the the second time in the team pursuit a few weeks later and then didn't ride the track again until a couple of months ago.
Cool!
I just did my first 4/5 omnium yesterday!
Points- #1
Unknown distance- #4
Tempo- #1
Mike Murray almost had me convinced to do the Madison but I chickened out. I need a little more practice. It looks like I have more more day of racing before I booted out of the 4/5's.
