I just noticed a nick in the finish on my carbon fork. How should i repair this? I was thinking of putting a thin layer of clear nail polish or something. I've heard that it's bad to keep carbon exposed to the air. The nick is like 3mm by 3mm.

Will nail polish damage it?

You can pickup clear coat at some Auto parts store that would work perfectly to cover that up.. I know branfordbike also carries a clear coat that you can use is around $6 for the bottle..

Well the nick is really really not deep. It's really not that big. I actually bought it used in this condition. I'm dumb.
