bums me out completely to be honest

I liked vinokourov, I kinda liked rasmussen too, and the battle tween contador and the chicken was fun to watch, I'd like to see cycling get clean, but I'm not sure its gonna be much fun to watch the process.......

I'm waiting for enough teams to pull out so Francais de Jeux can dominate the podium in Paris!

Vive le France!!

This misses the point.

Spin this past its absurdity for a moment. The TEAMS are now being punitively punished for their riders' actions, which is directly affecting sponsors.

In the past, you punished the rider and the team left the rider to hang out in the breeze.

Now, teams/sponsors are going to have band together to police their own riders, lest they exit big events in shame, a la Astana and Cofidis.

Rabobank has already caught on to this and proactively kicked Rasmussen from the team and the Tour. Better for them to do it in the name of their own future and their sponsor's name, rather than get caught by doping authorities.

It's one thing that may actually save cycling and it's about time.

Or have 2 tours, one clean and one where anything goes.
