Professional Cycling - Cadel's to lose?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Over 55km, mostly flat, Contador's 1:53 over Evans looks kinda slim.
So is the question about whether Levi can take a minute or so from Evans in the TT? I thought that was Cadel's strength...
you can expect Contador/Discovery to go as well if my moles are on the money...

Only put a minute into him in the first TT, and Cantador will have the motivation of the Yellow Jerersey this time.
The Disco train should be able to hold it's own on the flats, and keep it even until the TT, giving Levi and Contador a chance.

As in out of the race? Nah, Disco has proven they are the best at evading detection.

How about you tell us what your moles are saying?

Indeed.
It's still a three horse race. I can't wait! :)

Indeed.
But it sounds like you think that is going to change in the very near future?

Did anyone else see Cadel shoulder-check a fan into the grill of a parked car? It about 10 or so kms from the summit, they were down to three in the lead group, and he nailed this guy who had been running alongside them like a loon...

I SAW IT - IT WAS GREAT!!!!! (Yes, I'm shouting!) I'm recording to DVD, and when I first saw it, I wasn't sure what happened. I thought perhaps the fan knocked Cadel down. However, when I watched the DVD - it's an absolute classic! Talk about owned!

Now that Ras has withdrawn, do the time bonuses for previous stages get shifted over to other riders, or do they stay with the original rider?
If they do, then it would change the size of the lead that Contador has over Evans.

+1 - hire the best medical staff in the world and make avoiding getting busted your #1 goal. I think what makes Disco so smart is they'd take 2nd or 3rd place rather than losing everything and getting busted. They also know when to quit - Lance timed things to perfection. They're just on the right side of the line between ambitious and greedy. Seems to pay off for them.

He didn't get busted so I would assume nothing gets changed and he would keep his stage wins.

Brilliant! I wasn't sure if I imagined it or not. Aussie rules road cycling!

His mtb handling skills came in handy for sure! He was suffering on a very steep slope, but still had the energy to beat that jerk down. I wish I had a vid to post.

Damn, I missed it. I hope someone posts a video of it.

Actually upon a recheck, its the moto driver that pushes the fan away.. 4.1 miles to the top..

http://www.smh.com.au/news/tourdefrance/greatest-swindle-in-sporting-history/2007/07/31/1185647857951.htmlIn the absence of evidence that he doped for or in the TdF--and as of today, I am aware of no such evidence--how could this possibly affect Contador's TdF victory?
