If you understand French, here is the link to 'The Other Tour', the story of a French reporter, Guillaume Prébois, from LeMonde who rides all stages one day in advance of the actual race. Fabio Biasiolo who just rode the Race Across America is also doing the ride. These are text and audio comments about each day including doping controls.
Prébois' goal is to report on how a regular fit body respond to the requirements of such a race.
