- Rabobank's board discussed the decision with the Team. They are however, still committed to sponsoring the team. Rasmussan was not only dismissed from the tour, he has been dismissed from the team. The one good thing for Rasmussan is that he will not lose his salary, and will not incur a 4-year ban from the sport.
- No word on whether Confidis is going to review these procedures.
- BMC is looking at dropping Team Astana. If that is the case, (this is my opinion) you will have Bianchi and BMC looking to poor in some serious money to get back into the pro-tour. Agritubel, Barloworld, Tinkoff are 3 smaller teams which would be happy to drop their current lessor deals for a bigger deal. Although, since Cannondale actually owns a part of Barloworld (if I recall) this might be more difficult than normal.
