The line "Some of us could use a little 'assistance' " is misdirected and childish.
It represents the narrow-minded view of a few road cyclists who think bikes were made solely for people to ride while wearing lycra and attempting to belittle each other by being slightly faster. The rest of the time their bikes are something to avoid hitting when they pull into their garage after another fume-box trip to the store to buy gram weight components and cytomax, or groceries or any other real world reason to go somewhere.
I ride a traditional bike which can be converted to electric assist in three minutes. I ride more than 100 miles each week on a normal bike and another 100 on the same bike with a motor and battery. They are both graceful and elegant ways to move through life at high speeds or slowly cruising. I would not go without either.
Many on this forum are riding, designing and building new forms of transportation. Forms of transportation that are simultaneously healthy, economical, fun to ride, and environmentally sound.
Please change the tagline to reflect that reality.
