... rides like a POS.
okay maybe i didn't get the most efficient frame out there today, but singlespeeding a FS frame takes the advantage and fun out of a ss. i got a proflex 955 frame used and i put on parts from my ss on it, and took it out for a few rides. having rode only ht's in the past, i loved how the fs can just take whatever rough stuff comes my way. but when i took it on a gruelsome (to me, anyway) climb, i find that if i get out of the saddle and pound it, i bob like nothing else.
i think i will be upgrading to a better shock, and then putting a geared drivetrain on it.
