To me it doesn't really bother me that all this stuff is happening. Hopefully it's a sign that they are cleaning house. But why is it that the focus is always on the negative. There's one guy on here who I think scans the feeds all day long just waiting for a story to break. Maybe he should become a gossip reporter.

I still think it has been one of the most exciting Tours in years. I'm loving it. The battles have been legendary. I'm looking forward to the TT on Sat.

I'm watching it but it's not as exciting for me since the guys I was rooting for were yanked and I don't care for the contenders. Out of the remaining riders, the ones I like are mere domestiques. Seeing as it's Boogerd's last tour, Rabobank should make him new captain and order him to attack, just for my entertainment :)

The battles between MR and AC were legendary...but they unfortunately leave a slight bad taste in my mouth now, similar to Floyd's amazing Stage 17 (guilty or not, there'll always be speculation, giving the effort an asterix)
Regardless...Doesn't take away from my overall enjoyment of watching/following/discussing a sport I love.

I start the Tour with my favorite picks but still root for anyone giving it their all and pulling out a victory. Soler and his awesome climbing and attacking; I'm glad he's won a stage and the KOM. Cadell Evans, Levi, Contador all battling with Rasmussen. Cancellara getting and defending the maillot jaune. McEwen sneaking in yet again to steal a stage win. Those crazy breakaways that sometimes pull it off. Sastre and Mayo giving it their all, attacking, going on breakaways. Popovych dragging Levi and Alberto up the climbs, then going back for water bottles, then going on the attack. Boogerd, Dekker, Menchov working like dogs to protect the yellow jersey. Millar doing whatever he can to win a stage or help Mayo, despite turning purple.
So much to appreciate. So many awesome riders to cheer for.
I think there's been a major shift in the attitude towards cheating. Riders aren't defending the cheaters; teams are firing their number one racers even when they've not tested positive for anything. I expect a lot more riders to get busted as the pressure gets ratcheted up and it will just not be worth it to cheat.
im still watching AND STILL GOING BALLISTIC. Cant help it,i have doing this tdf thing since the middle 60s on wide world of sports.
if anything, yesterday i was mad at the governing bodies.
it seemed they were out to destroy the tour.but after seeing the presser,i think that they just wanna do the right thing.
this is the overlooked aspect ....... even with all the doping scandals its still exciting to watch.
