I have a Rockshox Ario 2.R and I dont see where I can adjust the travel for it...the guy I bought it from said it can be adjusted from 3", 4", or 5" of travel, but the manual doesnt say how...Im afraid to touch any of the settings before I figure out how to adjust the travel. Thanks!
the only adjustment on this shock is the rebound...I'd be surprised if you could adjust travel, I'm not aware of any shock that does this...normally, the travel adjustment is on the bike
Good luck with this

my Manitou Axel has convertible travel from 80mm-100mm and it involves opening the lower legs of the shocks to remove and reinstall this clip in whichever desired position.
what i am trying to say is that it might not just be a simple "adjustment" so enjoy fiddling with your other settings.

The fox shock on Girlscouts Enduro has a Long and short travel setting. What kind of bike is your shock on?

i found out whats going on...its an 07 motobecane fantom elite ds...it has a "triple active" rocker arm with 3 holes for the top bolt fixture of the shock to fit into...looks kinda shady to me im wondering if one position will put more stress on the shock than another?

After you find the rocker setting you like, you just need to play around with air pressure top get what you're looking for.

i imagine that while im XC that I can have the air pressure a little less than when Im doing light jumps and drops...I want to find a happy medium
