I may be moving to Crane Indiana for a work related project but before I go, I was wondering if anyone knows that area of the state.

I know that area of the state; I grew up near there in Bloomfield, Ind. PM me if you want specific details about the area.

It's a beautiful area to ride. Here's a photo I took when I was riding through an area called Walnut Grove which is a few miles north of Crane. It was hazy that day because the humidity was about 142 percent.

That is relatively close to Bloomington, Indiana, home of the Bloomington Bicycle Club and they are an active group. That area is also in range of CIBA, Central Indiana Bicycling Association, also a very active group. Both have rides listed on the respective web sites. I am not from the area, but I have ridden in several rides sponsored by these groups.

This is great advice. You should especially check out the Hilly Hundred--that's a nationally famous ride that takes place in mid-October. There's info on the CIBA website.
