Pffffffft...the Spanish government has a long history of blaming the ETA for things they haven't done (not that the ETA isn't guilty of some horrendous things), don't forget they were initially blamed for the Al Qaeda train bombings (without proof). The bombs in question, were small and caught early, the Basques love their bike riders, no self respecting ETA terrorist would blow up the Euskatel team and all the orange wearing Basque supporters on the route. If the ETA wanted to blow up the race, they would have. Is someone in Spain's gov't. related to George W. Bush?

Meh. The Department of Homeland Security would likely ban all spectators from the mountains, then a bomb would explode, forcing DHS to claim some crazy Islamic jihadists were able to infiltrate anyway.
