Is there anything more painful than listening to Bob and Al read a paper about calculus?
Sir Isaac Newton doped big time :D

So that means we should negate everything he taught us because he was doping?
You only have to negate his attempts at alchemy and determining the end of the world using scripture since he was in Italy at that time. The other more trivial things like gravitational constants and higher math you don't have to negate because he was then in Mexico, or so he claims, ha

Yeah "training in Italy" (or Mexico) definitely lends to discrediting your rep! Was he wearing the popular color of clothing at the time (black)? Carry on!

OK, back to talking Calculus. Back in school a standard calculus joke was: The integral of e to the x is a function of u to the n. If you do not get it have an engineer write it out for you.

On a lark, in a proofs and logic class, I proved rings don't plug holes to a professor that was going through a divorce based on his wife's infidelity. He gave me an A+.:D

And in geometry class, if she had the curves, you had the angles :D

Listening to bob is like listening to an ignorant pig spew....tour day france. ****er...learn how to say it, you took the time to learn the names of the racers (even the spanish riders), you obviously respect the sport....at least say the ****ing name of the big race correctly you ignorant piece of crap.
Thats painful...tour day france...bad english....bad math...I can't believe his IQ is above 100 with the way he speaks.

+1 on any rants against any of the announcers.
The other day Al suggested that because it's called blood doping, if you do it, you might be a ...
How clever of him not to finish his lame joke. Took it to a whole 'nother level. I got it, Al. I got your joke. Only dopes do dope. Excellent point. Thanks for letting us smart kids figure it out on our own.
I think the tour is too long NOT to hate the announcers. Especially since I watch each day's stage multiple times if I can. And oh how I'll hate them all -- but especially Al and Phil -- by the time it's over. At least it's not Bob Costas.
Oh, yeah, and differential equations and stuff.

It's a joke. You know, a joke....
As I recall, Bob's fluent in three languages and his Italian is excellent.
And, my guess is he could buy and sell most out here four or five times over.
Having met him, he's a great guy.
See, it's a joke.
Lighten up Francis...

Actually, he is claimed to be very fluent in French also.
Anyone in this picture can call it the Tour Day Frantz if he wants to:

It's fun to listen to people get all worked up over Bob's "day." That's worth it to me. I'm sure that's 90% of why he keeps doing it.

I have reached my limit on how many doping threads I can tolerate. Hopefully the moderators can integrate all the doping threads together such that they will be easier to avoid, as I am finding it hard to differentiate which threads are about doping from the title alone.

I have as well, which is why I specifically said this one is about Calculus.
... Bob's fluent in three languages and his Italian is excellent. ...
And it was pretty neat hearing Paul describe the stage today in Swahili! He, too, speaks several languages. I am guessing English, Afrikaans, Swahili, and Flemish. Anyone know for sure?
Yeah, that was cool. I wish I could've understood what he was saying!
Is there anything more painful than listening to Bob and Al read a paper about calculus?
Frankie Andrieu saying "Campagnellah".
