On August 4, I present to you another Albany alleycat. This one's a poker gimmick, a mote of five card stud to celebrate the log in William Bennett's eye. Texas Hold 'Em ain't for steers, after all!

We expect no blowing snow that evening so you're not allowed to puss out on this one. As before, we shall be ending at my favorite little corner bar with cheap eats and plentiful beer.

There will be art! Scene kids! Bike cops on poorly fit rebadges! Math! And some of the finest tarmac in the city of Albany. Ride any bike or trike you like; as long as it's got wheels and pedals and is you-powered, it's all good. Don't think you need to be Hamilton's vanished twin or Vinokourov's blood-filled thighs, this'll be just as much of a good-spirited ride as it will be a race.

Entry fee gets you a neato handmade spoke card and a shot at being the baddest ass in the Capital Region.
