Somebody likes a NOS-Gios Torino campy limited bike who's about 20 years old..and no miles ?!:)
Nobody knows the price of that beauty?:D
Very nice! My advice: if you don't keep it (but you should keep it), sell the bike complete, not parted out. With all those great "Gios 40th" components on it, plus the period-correct (I assume) gruppo, it's a masterpiece.
That being said, please ride it, love it, and treat it the way a bike was meant to be treated.

I know..Thanks;it's a masterpiece but I need a 58 and this GT frame is a 54-54.5.
What price you think I can asked?

I had a bid of 1200.00 USD ???

... but that's not enough,no???
Nobody knows a right price for that bike?
It seems very odd that you want everyone else to decide what [i]your bike[i]is worth.
Decide what you want, list the price and either sell it or don't sell it, it's really quite simple. You've had it listed here for a week now so if $1200 is the only offer you've had what does that tell you?
I enjoy GIOS bikes because one, they cost considerably less than same speced vintage Colnagos, Merckx, Masi etc and because the workmanship is exquisite and the blue color is unique but it's not a high demand collectible bike by any stretch of the imagination. They're cool and fun to ride but not in the same collectible league with the "big boys". You have to really like the marque to spend real money on it.
People don't beat each other over the head to buy GIOS bikes so perhaps you have an inflated idea/opinion of what the bike is worth.
Maybe try eBay and cross your fingers.

Thanks for your opinion and advice.
Gios Torino for me is Monsieur Paris-Roubaix: Roger Devlaeminck...like Bianchi: Fausto Coppi...Colnago: Eddy Merckx...
The GT frame is to small for me...that's also the reason that he 's still NOS!!;)
just a reminder that you cannot sell bikes from this forum.
This whole thread is drifting dangerously close to being deleted.
Cyclocampy65, if you are trying to sell the frame you need to do so
in the Marketplace in the for sale section.

hi, I just want to know how much the bike is worth.
08-10-07, 11:44 AM
How much do you think I should ask for?
08-10-07, 11:45 AM
...in the marketplace??

The market decides the price. Put it on eBay and let the market decide.
