Are you all still eating and drinking or what? Report?
lol, we finished some time ago. It was a decent ride, but a little too cold for me (70-ish) and my legs started cramping about 2/3rd of the way through (where we hit the big climbs, of course). The ride was also made much more difficult by the gale force winds, which blew us all over the place. I probably burned an extra thousand calories just trying to keep the bike straight.
We had 6 people, 3 men and 3 women. The women rode strong, finishing the 45 miles in 3:15. We men finished the metric (which somehow came out to around 59 miles) in around 4 hrs even.
Gurana and bobby rode very strong, and my fat behind had to work hard to stay with them. I should have worn leg warmers and brought some cytomax, but hindsight is 50/50.
The good news is that Jess ordered the pizza a few miles from the house, then ran out and picked it up, so we had it waiting for us when we got in.
It was a fun time, and I think we'll have to make it an annual event. :D
