Well I went to SCC and went straight for the helmets. Sean spots me and yells "Hey Brian, Here is your scwag!!!" and he tosses me a cool Specialized/SCC shirt... I was like "Damn he must of read my post!!!"

I picked up a new Atmos helmet in SCC colors(black with red and white highlights) and didnt really stay long, since my friend was waiting to leave due to extreme sticker shock

I may head back tomorrow with my mountain bike to get a fork and headset installed....

Probably try to make it out there this weekend. SCC and Sean are great. Last March I bought my S-Works Roubaix there and I got a really sweet deal on it. The service was top notch too.

Hey Paul... I stopped by SCC yesterday and Sean said your frame is cracked. What happened?!

I am not quite sure. Could have been when I went down a while back and didn't notice it or could be my big a**!! The crack is right along the seat tube below the seat post and weaving its way down. Went in on Friday to have have Candy give her a little TLC and he is the one who noticed it. Sean took some pictures and sent them off to Specialized. I have the 06' Tarmac but I think I will getting an 07' replacement.

I am trying to convince Sean to have Specialized send him an S-Works replacement frameset.

Isn't that how they are originally made, painted black of course?

+1!!! and if they don't have an item, they will get it. If you see an item and might have seen it for a better price, they will work with you. The problem is, some people just don't ask. They figure to just order online for the better deal.

I'm going into SCC for a new rear Derailleur and shifters, Mountain, either XTR or XO.
My rear Der is 6 years old and is pretty wobbly on the pivots.
If the 20% off is true, then I'll go for it!

If you go with Shimano, just get XT..... XTR isnt worth the price unless you race XC.... IMHO

My last XTR lasted 6 years with LOTS of riding...
I thought of XT, but gotta have the bling...
Besides, I'm leaning toward SRAM....
