Fifty Plus (50+) - TdF and Dogs

Everybody has been wondering why it is that there have been so many incidents of dogs getting out on the TdF course and interfering with the riders.

I finally figured it out ...

They're all drug sniffing dogs trained to seek out illegal drugs.

Strange, watching Levi this morning or George H., I intuited less pharmacopia than I used to sense in my junior high students. I suspect the dogs were mad with fear and trying to escape a few NFL degenerates. Better a glorious death in the Tour than in one of M. Vick's gladiator kennels where it's better not to go down fighting.

** Speaking of M. Vick, I'm wondering. My cat who can leap 3 times her length, run along roof lines, is agile enough to turn on a dime and catch birds on the wing, etc. is, pound for pound, a better athlete than Mr. Vick. If we could handicap her cognitive deficit, she could outperform him. But, then, we'd have to handicap his presumed moral deficit to make it fair. In the Darwinian struggle that Vick & friends love to celebrate by cleansing the doggie gene pool of inferiors, we can conclude that the next time he fails to achieve at his understood level of performance, his team and the fans should get together and stomp him to death. Or, throw him to the waiting dogs. [Gosh, you don't suppose I'm going over the top on this issue! Back to painting the back bedroom.]

I heard a rumor that all dogs involved in TDF incidents will be tested for doping substances. If found guilty they will be banned from attending future TDFs for life.
