Coupon Forum - Rivendell Online?

Has anyone else here dealt with Rivendell? I placed a first time order on Tuesday, got a confirmation email, then nothing... not even a charge to my credit card.

Just wondering if they are usually slow to ship or if my order may have fallen through the cracks?

I placed an e-mail order and was charged the next working day. The gloves got to me a few days after that. For what it is worth I live about 70 miles from their location.

They are very cool, and very human. If you have any questions or concerns, just call them. You'll talk to a real human being who will answer your questions.

Update: After a week and still no word I sent them an email Monday. The reason they hadn't shipped yet is my order was short one minor item and they were waiting for a shipment to come in later this week. I responded to go ahead and delete that item from my order and send the rest Priority Mail.

Two days later the items have shipped and the shipping fee is higher than it would have been with all that I had originally ordered, so I'll have to assume they had planned on shipping UPS or something less speedy than Priority. Good thing I spoke up otherwise I would have had to wait at least another week.

Friendly customer service but I'm disappointed I wasn't notified of the delay to start with. Will be placing them further down in my queue of favorite online bike shops.

I've ordered from them for perhaps 5 years. Always efficient and often quicker than Nashbar. Also, they are very forthright and responsive to deal with from my experience. Give them a call.
