I go to weather.com. Enter your zipcode and enjoy (provided you're in the states).

In advance? I'm not sure. I use wunderground.

I dont think radar works that way. The best you can do is to look at frames from the past hour and guess where the precipitation is going to go.

+1

The UK met office website has IR and visible satellite images but they're, as far as I can tell, always 1 or 2 hours old by the time they're on the website.

You are talking about weather FORECASTING. Radar simply displays what is currently seen, there is currently no equipment in the world that can see into the future that I am aware of, expert in the movies.

www.weather.com has the best CURRENT radar. It superimposes radar right over satellite maps and shows exactly where it is raining and where it isn't. You can see precip in one neighborhood and not in the other, it is that good.

If you want forecasting you can use the hour by hour forecast at http://www.nws.noaa.gov/. It is very handy for wind prediction especially.

I have www.wunderground.com (division of weather.com I believe) in my links area in FF.

At top, just put in your zip code and bookmark that page.

Sorry for the miscommunication, yup I was looking forecasted radar maps and looks like they dont exist.. My idea was to see what exactly the path of the raincloud mass would be.. I use wundergorund, weather.com, noaa on a regular basis and none of these seem to have any either..

Hour by hour breakdowns are ok for temp predictions but their precipitation % make no sense to me.. I mean whats a 40% probability of rain even supposed to mean? out of 100 days like these 40 would rain?
