yesterday me and the fiancee went for a bike ride yesterday, what started out as a morning stroll ended up being a 20 mile ride (a personal best) and considering we went for an 11 mile ride the evening before that makes 31 miles in a 24 hour period. This morning even after a long night of drinking I feel great.

Congratulations on the new mileage record but this line is a better achievement to me seeing its sunday and I just started feeling better after a LONG friday night of drinking =/ yesterday I felt like crap the whole damn day. This is why I only drink like 3 times a year =-/

You know, who don't have to drink that much, what ever happened to A cold beer when you get home, or A glass of wine with dinner, or even A shot for medicinal purposes, when your not feeling well. Why do people need to drink until they are hung over for over a full turn of the clock. Heck you missed a whole day where you could have gone riding, it's bad enough to lose days to bad weather, high winds, a brutal schedule, work, but to voluntarily lose a day to hooch, that's shameful.

Besides, do you know how many calories are in booze, look it up, you will be shocked:p

While it wasn't a distance record for him, I think KT rode more feet of elevation gain in yesterday's 25 miler than in all his years living in Florida. :D

I'll have ya anxiously awaiting the Chilly Hilly by February!

Maybe....but I did plenty of overpasses in FL. :D

What? It's a hill.

Congratulations on your distance record. Sounds like the cycling bug has bitten you too.

I remember when it bit me recently I accidentally did more miles than originally planned and I was so surprised. In my experience of catching the cycling disease, the next symptom of the bite will be a shopping spree for lycra and bike components. Watch out! Your wallet is about to lose weight fast!
