Or do they call you? It's so cool to talk rather than type. Especially if they have the same plan as me! :D

I'm quite close to a group of forumites from another bicycle forum - and have been "typing" for the last several years and have now made the jump to calling/texting. And visiting each other. Have met several and actually have a guy coming in from Colorado in a couple weeks, as soon as he leaves - I'm packing my bike up and traveling to where a bunch of forumites are meeting up to watch one of our members do a Tri. Fun to meet up!!!!!!

edit: hehe in fact I just talked with one now about the end of TdF. :D

You may be faster but...... well.... At least my UMB(note I said umb) is all the colors of the rainbow. I'm so popular now. I get tons of people callin' to me.

And I only talk on the phone to certain select few. Everyone else has had the good sense not to give me their phone numbers.

i used to talk to one that lived in florida, i sent her a text last night since i havent talked to her in a long time and the whole amnesia thing i figured it would be a good time to catch up, we were supposed to ride for a bit when i rode from orlando to birmingham, but or schedules conflicted but we still chatted most of my way back. we havent talked since jan i think, she helped me thru a messy break up

Forgot to mention...no more dittys for you! Memo will be in the food tray as usual.

( I am not a phone person. I occasionally (2-3 times max/week) speak to my gf, but that's different. We have stuff we need to talk about from time to time, about stuff and such.

Well, I figure if I post something people can ignore me if they choose - if they talk to me and ignore, I might notice... After all, I probably am not doing anything different than most people...

Well, except SoCal members for logistical reasons. And one of them (not a Fooster) called once for a reason other than a ride.

I have yet to speak with any BF members on the phone, though I would not rule the idea out. :p

If you don't want to use cell phone minutes, services like Ventrilo and TeamSpeak really do work well. :)
