PICK UP & DELIVERY OPTIONS
I'm located north of Kansas City in a quaint village called St. Joseph, Missouri.

I'd prefer you pick it up. It fits on a standard bike rack with a minor adjustment. You will have to take the front and rear tires off to narrow it up a bit if you are putting it behind a car on a standard bike rack. I also wrap the lose chain with a dish towell and then wrap that with a bunge. It keeps the chain from rubbing the seat stay.

I could deliver it to the KC area if someone were really without a way to arrainge pick up. But you'd have to make a pre-delivery deposit that covered my gas there and pack and another $50 unrefundable. That $50 would come off of the total due at delivery. But the gas money is mine. $0.35 a mile there and back.

I would deliver it to a North KC bicycle shop if you make pre-paid arraingments with them for the packing and shipping. I'd drive it there at no charge.

WHY THIS BIKE IS FOR SALE
My wife suggested that I buy this bike when I was trying to get her into cycling. We have ridden it a total of about 50 miles together. I would classify those 50 miles as the most stressful of my cycling experience. I love my wife. I swear as God is my witness I really love her. But, I sell it so that we may both live to a ripe old age - with her alive and me out of prison. The tandem helped me decide that the price of her joining me in this activity was way too high. ;)

You will know whether your relationship will be enhanced by a tandem. Frankly, I knew it wasn't a good idea when I plunked down the money. If you get that feeling - Run - Don't walk from this concept of riding/buying a tandem. On the other hand, you and yours may be ready. If so this is a good deal.

REVIEWS
There are a few reviews out there on Google. Do yourself a favor and check craigslist and eBay (http://www.ebay.com/) and the net for NEW and used prices. Learn about this model and make a well-informed choice. I believe you will find this bike to be a good deal at $600. We paid $900 with tax and a few minor upgrades. Thus, when I think about it we will have paid about $6.00 a mile for the privledge of being the first owners of this bike.
