I just bought a Profile Design integrated TT stem/bar/aerobar with brake levers for $50. I got the Dura-Ace 9 speed barcons to go with it earlier for $45. I'm thinking of running it on my Miyata carbon wrapped ss/fixie for awhile. Once I finish building and trying out the Mercier frame I may have to sell it because of it's size - 64cm. I'm thinking of making the Miyata my race style bike instead. These bars are set up like these.

if that link fails they are similar to these newer ones. http://www.cbike.com/profile_design.htm

That would allow me to keep the Schwinn Prelude as the new fixie/ss. It's on the small side for me but isn't slightly small better for fixies? She's 22.2 lbs as shown so she should be almost as light as the Miyata at 17 lbs.

You got a pretty good deal there. The $95 you paid for the total package is better than one might expect with just the bars/stem combo. I'd go with the Miyata too. What kind of wheels are you running on it... Open Pros? When you've got it finished you should run the all black machine against DG's all white machine for the "pink slips".

I'll probably share my Cane Creek black/black Strados [very quiet] with Ultegra cassette from my Fuji commuter until I get another wheelset. That could help with my parking/storage issue for now.
I'm debating another $100 to get an Nashbar ISIS BB / Compact crankset that is all black. The current BB is Ultegra but it was used and I'm getting a knocking sound from that area. The crankset is 165mm 105. I do have the Ultegra 170mm that was planned for the Mercier [tought I might keep that low cost with the 105].
